Why We Are Here
Daily Bible Online is a non-denominational Christian site devoted to spreading
the Gospel of Jesus Christ and helping believers grow in their Christian faith. It
is our goal to bring people to Christ and help believers grow in their faith
through the development of online Bible tools and software designed to make it
easier for everyone to study and understand the Bible.
It is estimated that there over one billion people online world wide with more
and more reaching out through the internet day-by-day. In New Testament
times the Roman roads opened up what was then the known world to the
Gospel. Today the internet is providing a way to spread the Gospel message
around the world bringing lost souls to the knowledge of Jesus and His free
gift of Salvation. Through the internet it is our goal to reach into countries that
may not allow Christian missionaries and to breach those barriers that may
have stopped traditional missionary work. Through the internet we can provide
a way for believers around the world to gain solid Biblical knowledge where it
otherwise may not be available. And through the internet we can provide
answers to those who may still be searching as God draws them to Himself
and to the knowledge of Christ Jesus.
Everyone’s deep need is to know God personally, and the only way to do that
is through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Jesus a sinful man can
come into fellowship with a Holy God. It is through Jesus that we can be
cleansed of our sins and receive the free gift of Salvation offered by his
atoning work at the Cross of Calvary.
Jesus - How Will You Decide?
Where will you spend eternity? How can you be sure, what evidence do you
have? Does simply being a good person get you into heaven? And by whose
standards do we judge what is good verses what is bad? In today's world
where any judgment for or against moral standards has become a social wrong
and values are constantly being redefined by social attitudes how can you be
sure what's right or wrong? Well you can, God has given us His Son and told
us how we can spend eternity with him.

I was inspired by the Holy Spirit to begin this journey of writing. I was taken
completely by surprise as this was not a planned project. One day in 2005, the
Lord laid it on my heart to write a poem to a very special person. I was
obedient in doing so, then He told me to write poems for a weekly news letter
and once again I was obedient. Usually when I set down to write, I had no clue
what I was going to write about. I would simply pray and ask the Lord to give
me the words to write. There are times I literally hear the Holy Spirit speaking
to me in poetry and I simply write down what I hear. After a few months all of
the poems were brought together in book form as a completed work called
Anointed Poetry which includes the award winning poem, My Brother, My
Friend. This book of poetry is truly anointed as it is inspired by the Holy Spirit.
You actually feel the anointing as you read through each poem.
